Capable Parents is a path to effective parenting skills and parent advocacy. We provide programs to meet the needs of parents and their children through parenting classes, individualized parenting programs brought to your home and helping parents learn to become advocates for their children.

Capable Parents Education Programs
Parents as Teachers
Parents as Teachers (PAT) is a parent education and family support program serving families throughout pregnancy until their child enters kindergarten, usually age 5. As a PAT family, you receive: Personal visits -- during which your parent educator will share age-appropriate child development and parenting information, help you learn to observe your child, and address your parenting concerns. 1-2-3-4 Active Parent Class
This three session class will give you the opportunity to meet with other families of toddlers and preschool children who may be experiencing some of the same challenges you are facing everyday.
